As a result of the Covid pandemic and the surge in living costs, parents/carers are finding it more difficult to stretch their finances. Last week of July 2021 we started up Lunchbox to assist students that are attending school without any lunch. Previously lunch packs were made up by our volunteers and delivered to participating schools so that their students have sustenance and are more able to concentrate on their studies. Now, we support them by providing as much food etc as possible so that students or staff can make lunches or provide the students with something for breakfast via the Breakfast Club.

Although this program started as a result of Covid, Our Community Cares will continue to support breakfast and lunches after the community returns to our new normal and attempt to assist as many schools as possible.
